WJCC-CAA Expands Head Start Services Across Seven Virginia Localities


WILLIAMSBURG, VA - The Williamsburg James City County Community Action Agency (WJCC-CAA) has been officially selected by the Office of Head Start, via its Designation Renewal System (DRS), to provide vital Head Start services in New Kent, Charles City, King William, Gloucester, Mathews, Middlesex, and the Town of West Point. This marks a renewed commitment to empowering children and families in these communities, with administrative oversight commencing August 1, 2025, from WJCC-CAA's main office at 3300 Acorn Street, Suite B, Williamsburg, Virginia 23188.

WJCC-CAA, a cornerstone Virginia Community Action Agency since 1970, is a private non-profit 501(c)(3) organization deeply committed to community empowerment and poverty reduction. Alongside Head Start program services, the agency offers vital initiatives such as Project Discovery, Energy Assistance, and Financial Literacy, empowering children, youth and families annually.
