Meeting Community Needs

Our community needs assessment is conducted periodically to identify the needs and resources of the City of Williamsburg and James City County. Results are used to plan and implement effective programs and services. The assessment typically involves gathering data on a wide range of topics, such as demographics, economic conditions, health and social services,and  education,. The information is then analyzed and used to identify areas of need, gaps in services, and opportunities for improvement. The goal of a community needs assessment is to inform decision-making and ensure that resources are allocated in a way that addresses the most pressing needs of the community.
